Pride Month Spotlight: The Boulet Brothers

Dracmorda and Swanthula Boulet, collectively known as the Boulet Brothers, are drag icons and modern horror hosts who constantly seem to be working their fingers to the bone to produce only the best horrific content a ghoul could ask for.

Through their search for the world’s next drag supermonsters via their reality competition series The Boulet Brothers’ Dragula, or through the podcast they co-host with producer Ian Devoglaer, The Boulet Brothers’ Creatures of the Night Podcast, they are always hard at work celebrating the dark and the strange, both through reality and fiction.

Embracing and showcasing all styles of drag on Dragula, they revel in drag, filth, horror, and glamour. Speaking about the diversity of the queens and kings who compete on their show, they’ve said, “Dragula reflects the queer community and the queer community is huge and diverse. We will continue to push that narrative because that is the reality.”

Though their name often causes confusion about them possibly being siblings, the two are in fact not related and only use the name Boulet Brothers as their stage name. The two are in a romantic relationship together and have been hosting and performing with one another for two decades.
